Alright..i saw this news article in today’s straits times

Well…in case you might be wondering…i have nothing to do with them or they have nothing to do with me too…

All right…so the p2 boy i blogged about the day before…he actually drew a cookie monster yesterday during art lesson, and on the back of the paper…he wrote: “to mr tang from 2H jinyi” and gave the drawing to me…..haha…and according to the art teacher he refused to hand in to her…hehe….well…it isn’t exactly the cookie monster….it’s actually a monstrous looking figure and some cookies around it…but i think that’s really something for this boy…

anyway i will take a picture of it when im free and post it here….ciao~

All right, so amidst the fact that iam facing my quarter century + 1 years old crisis…i have to share this piece of good news to all my readers…

My P2 boy, who is intellectually slower than the rest danced to himself today and finally spoke a proper sentence in English. Okay, it may sound weird but this is really an achievement for him and me. And I discovered that he loves sesame street.

Basically i was having PE with my P2 pupils and i was getting them to do some fundamental movements and basic gymnastics…so i had some background music, namely sesame street songs and spongebob squarepants. For this lesson, he participated actively (in his context) and when i called the class back for some questioning, he was behind the entire class dancing to himself. The background music at that time was cookie monster’s C is for cookie. I was really surprised that he did that but that’s also how i found out he loves sesame street.

So after that, i talk to him a lot about sesame street and during dismissal when i was bringing him to the gate, i sang the cookie monster song to him - “C is for ….” he replied cookie and shortly after added in “monster”. WOOTs…haha..then i asked him what colour is cookie monster, he replied blue. Then i asked him about Elmo, and he replied red. I was totally amazed…..and after that, he added in on his own, “Big bird is yellow.” I was so amazed and elated. It’s just a feeling that i cannot describe.

A teacher’s joy….i guess….

So im quarter of a century + 1 years old…..yeah…and this 2 songs describe my life life story so far….enjoy….

Hi..basically reached home not long ago and am resting now while doing a little bit of work…trying to get warmed up…probably start some serious business after this post…

went to youtube and search for this j-drama, pride, again…watched it before but the ending is so deeply entrenched in my mind…i mean it would probably be the same for anyone who watched the entire series…the ending is just so touching and emo…haha…anyway..posting it so i can watch it every now and then…haha…

im probably going crazy…
